How to use minimap reminders in League of Legends
- Choose a reminder interval: 3, 5, 8, or a custom value from 1 to 60 seconds.
- Test the sound and set a comfortable volume, then select Start reminders.
- Return to your game and keep this tab open. Each cue prompts a quick minimap check when it is safe to look.
- Stop the reminders here when your practice session ends.
Choose a rhythm for your practice
Fixed timing repeats your selected interval. Varied timing moves between two-thirds and four-thirds of that interval: a 3-second setting produces cues 2–4 seconds apart. Soft rotation changes the tone each time, and two beats play a pair of short sounds.
There is no single best interval for every player or situation. Start with a pace that feels manageable and adjust it if the cues distract you or fade into the background. The tool cannot detect fights or tell when you should look away from the action.
Frequently asked questions
Is this map awareness trainer free?
Yes. The reminder tool is free to use in your browser, with no account, download, or League of Legends connection required.
Will reminders keep playing in another tab?
Audio can continue while you use another tab or application. Keep this page open and your computer awake. Browser tab suspension or device sleep can interrupt audio; return here and restart the reminders if needed.
Does it track my gameplay or improve my rank?
It does not read the game, track your gaze, or measure performance. It is a practice aid for remembering minimap checks, with no guaranteed improvement or rank outcome.
